1. HEALED AFTER TERRIBLY BEING BURNT.
Lydia from Kakamega was
burnt during her duties and the doctors said she would never recover because the burns
were severe. She was admitted in Kakamega provincial Hospital for a whole month without
progress. During her stay in the hospital she listened to the live prayer program at six
in the evening from Imani Radio. She called the Pastors in the studio and she was prayed
for. After the prayers, she begun recovering and it didn’t take long before she was
released from hospital. She has been healed completely. That, which is impossible to man,
is possible with God. We give God all the glory!
2. HEALED FROM THE BITTERNESS OF THE HEART
Elizabeth Mutua is one of the victims of the post election violence. Before the December
elections, she was working in Kericho as an administrator in a high school. The violence
erupted after the elections and all her properties were destroyed. During the political
chaos she was at home in Matunda near Kitale for the Christmas holidays. She learned of
the destruction of her properties and she harbored a lot of hatred and bitterness in her
heart. She feared going back to Kericho and in the process she lost her job. While still
in Kitale, she became a frequent listener of Imani Radio and one day during an afternoon
program called Kitimoto, she was touched in her heart with the scriptures that were being
read about forgiveness. At the end of the program she called the presenter and she was
prayed for. There and then, she forgave all the people that wronged her and she now enjoys
the peace of God in her life. To God be all the glory.
3. GOD’S PROVISION IS REAL!
Everline Mutende came to our studios at Imani Radio with joy and laughter after God proved
to her that He is Jehovah Jire, our provider. Everline lives in a place called Birunda
along the Kitale Webuye road. One day she was listening to preachings from Pastor Robert
Makona on a Friday afternoon. She was so low because her child was home due to lack of
school fees. The pastor preached and asked anyone with a need to touch the Radio as a
point of contact as he was praying concerning the needs of the listeners. Everline took
the step of faith and she touched her radio. Three days after the prayers, she received
her miracle. There was a man who had borrowed some money from her five years ago and had
not repaid. She had tried to talk to her debtor to repay without success. But this day was
a different day. The man came all by himself and paid all the money he owed to her. She
cleared her child’s school fees immediately. We give all the praise and honor to God. |
What is temptation?
- Temptation is an enticement or solicitation
to do evil – James 1: 13.
- Temptation - Is from Satan purposely to cause
a believer to sin and fail in faith.
- Test is from God purposely to strengthen a
believer’s faith.
- In
short temptation is Satan’s attack to the individual Christian/believer.
TWO WAYS THAT SATAN USES TO ATTACK BELIEVERS
- The desires of the world
*Satan tempts believers to become
absorbed into the world’s system.

2. The desires of the flesh
*The desire of the flesh is the
greatest enemy because it cannot honor God’s laws.

These are just but the entry points that the devil uses always to pull Christians into
temptation. One thing that we must understand is that no body is this world is out of
temptations. If Satan tempted the Son of God, who are we? The amazing thing also about the
temptation of Jesus is that, it came when He had just completed forty days fasting in the
wilderness. This teaches us that the devil is not afraid of fasting!
